Pikachu Powers Up the Pokémon x PUMA All-Pro NITRO 2
PUMA’s ongoing Pokémon linkup is heading straight to the hardwood, with the All-Pro NITRO 2 getting an electrifying 'Pikachu' makeover. Following last year’s 'Mewtwo' Suede, the Big Cat are now tapping their flagship non-signature hoops model for a drop that blends performance tech with pure main-character energy.
The colour execution ain’t afraid to make some noise. A full-blast Pikachu yellow floods the engineered upper and midsole, while black underlays peek through to mirror the character’s fur pattern. Red suede hits around the eyestays nod to Pikachu’s cheek-sparks, and subtle metallic detailing slices through the Formstrip for extra voltage. Co-branded Pokémon graphics land on the heel and insoles, locking in the crossover credentials.
Under the hood, this one's still very much a serious hoops performer. The All-Pro NITRO 2 rides on PUMA’s NITRO SQD foam setup, engineered to balance cushioning and responsiveness for quick cuts and stop-start play. Multi-pattern traction – radial at the heel and chain-like up front – keeps things court-ready for guards who live for quick cuts.
The Pokémon x PUMA All-Pro NITRO 2 ‘Pikachu’ is currently pencilled in for April 1, 2026, dropping via PUMA and select retailers for $140 in unisex sizing.
Cute? Yes. Court-capable? Also yes.
