Air Jordan 4 'Cool Grey' Hits Like a Refreshing Breeze
First released in 1989, the iconic Air Jordan 4 has since gone on to become not only one of the Jordan Brand’s greatest creations, but one of most beloved sneakers of all time. It may be famed from its OG colourways such as the ‘Bred’, but return of the fan-favourite ‘Cool Grey’ is certainly a refreshing addition to the silhouette’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The AJ4’s maximalist charm is offset with a pleasantly modest scheme, dominated with grey and black. A splash of yellow comes through via the Jumpman tongue logo and outsole accents, while the black and white midsole bring a familiar feel. Harking back to the OG release in ’04, the Jumpman heel logos don a chrome finish, adding a flashy embellishment among the minimalist details.
