American rapper Lil Nas X has taken things to the next level with his diabolical 'Satan Shoes'.

A collaboration with the Brooklyn-based MSCHF (the company responsible for the 'Jesus Shoes' in 2019), the 'Satan Shoes' contain real human blood.

Limited to just 666 pairs, the ‘Satan Shoes’ feature a drop of blood (donated by the team at MSCHF) mixed with ink that fills an air bubble in the Air Max 97.

With a price tag of $1018, the sneakers are affixed with a pentagram-shaped charm and emblazoned with Luke 10:18 – a biblical passage that reads: ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.’

Nike are denying any involvement in the Air Max 97.

‘We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF,’ a Nike spokesperson said in a statement. ‘Nike did not design or release these shoes, and we do not endorse them.’

The ‘Satan Shoes’ come hot on the heels of Lil Nas X’s provocative ‘Montero (Call Me by Your Name)’ music video. In the video below, Lil Nas X seemingly intends to apologise for the shoe before the video cuts the music clip.
