The Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred’ Returns in 2021... in Patent Leather Form
The ‘Bred’ is without a doubt one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, and its remixes have also been hugely popular over the years. We’ve seen colour mashups like the ‘Homage to Home’, Mid versions, and even completely different materials, but this latest leaked rendition could be the closest version to the fan-favourite OG colourway we’ve seen since 2016’s retro. Slated for 2021, a patent leather version of the beloved ‘Bred’ Air Jordan 1 is set to join the lineup.
Just like the OG, this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a black, white, and ‘Varsity Red’ scheme. While we don’t have pics of the real thing just yet, it’s suggested that the upper will feature classic colour-blocking, and the traditionally soft tumbled leather will be replaced with the shiny patent leather. Additionally, the colourway will also sport ‘Nike Air’ branded tongues, and the Wings ankle logo. Down below, expect the familiar white midsole atop a red rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Bred Patent’ is rumoured for release on October 23. We’ll bring you additional info as it surfaces.
