The 40th anniversary of Nike's Air Force 1 is looking to be a monumental one! With dozens of colourways (both past and future) sure to be flying off shelves in the coming months, the Air Force 1 Mid is also making its re-debut into the hearts of sneakerheads everywhere.

In September last year, news of the NYC AF-1 Mids was unveiled, and next in line is a very exciting retro AKA, the AF-1 Mid 'Independence Day'. Recently announced, the historic sneaker was originally released in 1997 with the iconic colourway featuring patriotic red, white and blue. And now it has a partner in crime stepping onto the scene, rocking a similar metallic aesthetic! Known as the 'Ale Brown', this Mid features a white leather upper with the namesake evidently making itself known via the overlay panels and ankle strap. Touches of Total Orange also hit the style via the 'jewel' Swoosh and branding, all sitting atop a Sail midsole.

Stay tuned for an upcoming release date which will be arriving soon.
