Official imagery has come through of all three colourways, along with confirmation of the release schedule. On June 15, all three colourways will be released through online and their Los Angeles and San Francisco stores. On that same day, Japan will get the iteration direct to their HUF stores and through their Japanese webstores, whereas the will release on June 22 via SNKRS, top-tier skate stores, and Nike NBHD doors, with the 'Brilliant Orange' releasing on SNKRS exclusively to North America.
The collaborative project celebrates the 20-year anniversary of the debut release between , with special focus on Keith Hufnagel and his legacy. The campaign will pay homage to the heritage of both the store and Keith, as it will be shot through the imagined lens of his beloved dog, Bones. Each pair also comes replete with a Bones-inspired dubrae.

Further speculation is circling around the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 that was rumoured to return in 2024. A release date has allegedly been slated for June 22, although neither HUF nor Nike have officially confirmed this drop as of yet.

Over their decades-long partnership, the duo have crafted some of the greatest collaborative releases of all time, including multiple , and Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of their linkup, and rumours are swirling that the pair will be resurrected to help celebrate.
Originally released in 2004, the pair made available to the public is pictured above while the iteration pictured below, in the Instagram post where the rumour originated, is the friends and family edition. So far, Nike or HUF are yet to confirm nor deny any of the rumours, but initial word states that the regular version – with no Benny Gold-designed skyline or baseball logo – will be the one to arrive in 2024. If this is true, we hope Nike keep it close to the OG as possible, including full-leather tonal grey uppers with crisp ‘Dark Apple’ accents.
